International Pipe Smoking Day

We, at Penn Valley Pipes and Pipeshoppe.com, don’t subscribe to the idea that your pipe should only be smoked once a year. Yet, there is a special day set aside for pipe smoking called International, you guessed it, Pipe Smoking Day. It happens to occur in the dead of summer in the southern hemisphere which is great for our brethren/sistren pipe smokers south of the equator, but up here in the north the day comes in the heat of the winter on February 20th. This actually happens to work out well for those fortunate enough to have a cozy fire to sit by, for it is a wonderful thing to light a relaxing pipe while sitting by a fire.
