Classic German Hunter Pipe GH15
An antique German Hunter pipe with a porcelain base and bowl and a long wooden stem. The pipe has a horn mouthpiece. While the bowl fits nicely into the base, you may find it can come out easily so be careful with it especially if you are smoking it. When smoked the bowl can get very hot, so be careful.
As hunter pipes go these are exceptional pieces. Although these can be smoked, we think you will want to keep these as collector’s items. While most likely made in post-war Germany, they could be from pre-war stock, but in any case, these are no later than the Cold War era and made in what was East Germany.
Length from mouthpiece to the tip of the base: 17 inches
Height of bowl: approximately 5″
Inside bowl diameter: 1.125″ wide.
This pipe can hold a truckload of tobacco!
