The Old German Clay Pipe #74 has a unique bowl design with prominent bumps over the entire surface of the bowl. The pipe consists of a clay bowl, and an aluminum band attached to the shank with an Ebonite stem making the pipe similar in feel and appearance to a standard brier pipe. The stem comes in a short Lovat version and a longer dovetail-style mouthpiece. The tobacco chamber on this pipe is relatively large, especially for a clay pipe.
The Vulcanite/Ebonite stem the mouth feel will be similar to smoking a briar pipe. This pipe cannot accept varnish on the tip.
Overall length: – Lovat= 5″ / Dovetail= 6″
Bowl height on both is 1.5″
Inside Bowl Diameter: 13/16″
