Slightly Marbled Dutch Gouda Clay Pipe
Clay pipes made in Gouda, Holland have been found all over the world. The Dutch were craftsmen in the trade and many of the individual pipe makers imprinted their symbols into the molds used to fashion their pipes.
Not all marbled Goudas are created the alike. Most are simply great looking pipes that resemble vanilla fudge ice cream with dark veins of Terra-cotta reddish clay running throughout. Sometimes, though, the mix is less than stellar and we find we’ve created an effect that is only mildly marbled. The marbling is still there, just not very dark or very pronounced. We couldn’t charge the same for these slightly marbled pipes so if you don’t mind a great pipe that comes with a big discount, then by all means add this to your cart.
We don’t promise these will be anything like the photo, but then, you aren’t paying the premium price. Also, we do not get many of these and they will only be available if we have them in stock. We can’t take special orders for these pipes.
